We loved the delicious breakfast that changed daily, but the room felt quite cramped for four people.

A calm atmosphere made it easy to relax after a long day of exploring.
The room was quite cramped for our group, which made it difficult to navigate around our luggage. I often bumped into furniture, causing some frustration. Additionally, the breakfast was not as substantial as I had hoped it would be, leaving me wanting more sustenance for the day ahead.

Unique water temperature control in the bath. felt like a daring adventure adjusting the manual mix. Loved the traditional Japanese breakfast showcasing a rotation of exotic dishes, keeping meals interesting.
Rooms are cramped, making it a hassle to maneuver small luggage. The blanket provided is surprisingly thick yet short, leaving taller guests uncomfortable as they ended up curling up all night. More informational support in English about the food would have been a real bonus, given the diverse menu offerings.

the staff’s lack of knowledge about gluten free was absolutely tragic, leaving me to risk an allergy disaster. how hard can it be to know dietary restrictions? also, the public bath was a sauna disguised as a relaxation experience, burning myself was not on my itinerary. oh, and a complimentary drink for the inconvenience would’ve been nice, thanks.

The location is just two minutes from the train station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The traditional breakfast is a delicious and unique experience, featuring a variety of dishes that change daily. I appreciated how the staff was always friendly and attentive, helping with our luggage before check-in.
The room felt a bit cramped for space, which could be a challenge for light sleepers like me.

would come here again
The staff was super kind! Our room had tatami flooring and was spacious, with a private bathroom and comfortable futons. Loved the traditional breakfast with various dishes. The onsen was nice, and we enjoyed wearing the yukata. Air conditioning was great for summer, and there was even a refrigerator for snacks.

The ryokan features a calm atmosphere despite its proximity to the main road, allowing for a relaxing experience. The welcoming touch of a small dessert upon arrival was delightful, while the traditional breakfast showcased a delightful variety, enhancing the cultural experience. However, maneuvering through the room felt a bit cramped, and storage space for luggage was limited, making it challenging for a longer stay. Also, the futons, while comfortable, could have used a bit more padding for a perfect night's sleep.

great experience with minor drawback
The staff provided exceptional service, especially when accommodating our late arrival and dietary restrictions. The dinner experience was outstanding, allowing us to enjoy a private setting while indulging in a spectacular traditional meal. The room was spacious with a comfortable futon, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. We also loved the location. it was just a short walk to the train station, making exploring the area easy.
However, the onsen was separated by gender, which could be limiting for some couples.
